Explore Felting Techniques

Join fiber artist Lynn Short for a comprehensive weekend workshop exploring the art of felting. The workshop will include techniques for wet felting, needle felting, and cobweb felting.

Create a wet-felted bowl using an inner resist technique to build the 3D form. Explore needle felting and sculpt a little bird to embellish your vessel. Design a light and airy cobweb scarf using merino wool, silk, and other organic luster fibers. Students will take home three completed projects and a supply kit to continue felting at home.

Workshop Fee:  $325, or $300 if purchased before May 1.

Wool materials, lunch, and snacks are provided. 

Please bring several large beach towels and one hand towel.
